Morpheus8 Burst Deep is the new generation of technology and is a type of radiofrquency (RF) microneedling device that is used for body contouring and skin tightening. The device uses a combination of microneedling and RF energy. This will promote dermal tissue remodeling, promote collagen and elastin production for a firmer, smoother appearance. Before Your Appointment
Pre-Care Instructions.
- Medicated Creams that are being used on the body (such as glycolic, tretinoin and retinols) that increase photsensitivity should be stopped one week prior to treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure to the areas being treated at least 1 week before to avoid skin sensitivity & wear SPF daily.
- On the day of your treatment, shower as normal but do not apply anything on the skin after showering.
- Avoid anticoagulants for at least 1 week prior to treatment, if medically permitted.
- Wear comfortable loose clothing the day of your procedure.
- Please shave hair in the area 2 days before treatment
What Happens During the Procedure?
You will arrive 1 hour early to your appointment time to numb the area. Then the numbing will be removed and you will be offered ProNox. ProNox delivers a safe mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and 50% oxygen for a pain-free experience. You control the amount you need, and the effects of the ProNox clears your system in only a few minutes following the treatment. You procedure will take approximately about 1 hour depending on how large the treatment area is.
Post-Procedure
- You may experience redness that will last a few minutes to a hour.
- Your skin may feel warm immediately after the treatment, and may last a few hours.
- You may have increased sensitivity to heat for about 48 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid applying any product to the treated area for at least 24 hours, unless instructed by your provider.
- As soon as your skin heals you can apply moisturizer & sunscreen.
- Downtime is minimal and typical ranges from 1-5 days
- We recommend a package of 3 treatments for best results at an interval of 3-6 weeks.
